Operations Intelligence — Pilot in development

Make every machine count.

Understand where your building may be wasting energy, water and money.

We’re developing an engineering-led approach to identifying operational inefficiencies in hotels and commercial facilities across Albania.

Pilot enquiries will open when our contact channel is ready.

The Problem

Equipment such as HVAC, water pumps, hot-water systems, refrigeration and electrical infrastructure incurs operating costs that are often hard to attribute to a specific machine from utility bills alone. Below are four possible pain points we hypothesise some operators face. They are hypotheses we need to validate with customers, not proven facts about every business.

Unexplained expenditure

Energy or water bills move, but it is unclear which equipment or which hours are responsible.

Possible pain point

Equipment reliability

Faults are often discovered only when equipment stops, and maintenance stays largely reactive.

Possible pain point

Disconnected information

Bills, equipment lists, maintenance logs and system data sit in different places and are rarely read together.

Possible pain point

Uncertain upgrade decisions

Without baseline data it is hard to know whether an automation or efficiency investment is worthwhile.

Our Approach

A simple four-stage process, from understanding the facility to verifying any agreed improvement.

  1. Existing data / equipment
  2. Analysis
  3. Findings
  4. Decisions

Illustrative diagram of the proposed process. It does not show live data or a deployed system.

Operational assessment

We understand the facility, key equipment, bills and how things run.

Targeted monitoring where justified

Limited measurement only where it has clear value, and only with your approval.

Actionable findings

Observations and improvement opportunities, ranked by the evidence available.

Evaluation and verification

Verification of agreed improvements against clear success criteria.

Important: Stages 2–4 are proposed capabilities. Their feasibility depends on pilot findings.

Initial suitability discussion

Together we see whether a pilot makes sense for your facility.

Agree scope and terms

We define scope, data needs, success criteria and commercial terms.

Conduct and evaluate a pilot

If mutually appropriate.

An initial conversation is not a paid technical assessment. The initial suitability discussion is free of charge and carries no obligation. Any technical assessment or pilot, if agreed, would be paid and defined in writing before any work begins.

What could an initial assessment provide?

The proposed scope of an initial assessment. It is an outline of what we aim to provide, not a demonstrated customer deliverable.

An initial operating-cost baseline

A structured picture of what the main equipment and utilities cost to run, built from the bills and records you already have.

A prioritised list of possible equipment-related inefficiencies

Candidate issues ranked by the evidence behind them. They are hypotheses to check, not conclusions.

A measurement plan to investigate and validate findings

What to measure, where and for how long, so any finding can be checked before decisions are made.

Proposed assessment scope, not a demonstrated customer deliverable. No specific savings are claimed.

Current development status

We want to be clear about what exists and what does not.

  • The service is in pilot validation.
  • No verified customer savings are claimed.
  • No established hotel-monitoring installations are claimed.
  • Diagnostic results will depend on available evidence and technical scope.
  • No specific financial return is guaranteed.
  • Any eventual electrical intervention must be separately assessed and carried out by appropriately qualified personnel.

About Robotics.al

Robotics.al is an engineering-led initiative concerned with automation, measurement, physical systems and operational intelligence. It is at an early stage of development.

The founder has professional mechatronics and mechanical design experience with robotic mechanisms, industrial prototypes, testing and engineering verification.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an existing BMS?

No. An existing BMS or meters can help but are not required. The starting point is a conversation about the data you already have, such as bills, equipment lists and maintenance logs.

Do you install monitoring equipment immediately?

No. We start with an assessment. Monitoring is proposed only where justified and agreed in writing. Any electrical work is assessed separately and carried out by qualified personnel.

Is the initial conversation free?

Yes. The initial suitability discussion is free of charge and carries no obligation. A technical assessment or pilot, if agreed, would have a cost defined up front.

What results can I expect?

We do not promise savings. A pilot may surface observations and improvement opportunities, or conclude there is little to improve. The outcome depends on the evidence available and the agreed scope.

Where is the pilot available?

Our focus is facilities in Albania. Availability by city or region will be confirmed in the initial conversation.
